Camping Venus is located on the southwest bank of lake Idro, which is deep in the green landscape and surrounded by the lush and evocative mountains of a wonderful and peaceful small town.
It is the perfect place if you are willing to spend your holiday relaxing yourself. Always in contact with nature, giving you the chance to have enjoyable walks in the surrounding woods or hiking on the mountains. (trails, vie ferrate, rock climbing)
The campsite is provided with a bar and a terrace overlooking the lake, a small market, two modern toilet buildings, one with a private bathroom for disabled persons and the other one with a baby-changing room, an open-air swimming pool, a playground for children, table tennis, table football, badminton and volleyball grounds.
Available to rent: via ferrata equipment, paddle boat, kayak, MTB, pedal go-kart.
Restaurant “Alla Grotta”, serving traditional Italian food such as lasagne and pesce persico, is located at the entrance of the campsite.
At the guests’ disposal are three coin-operated machines, two washing and one dryer.
Electricity and hot water without time limit are included in the price.
The majority of pitches are the internal ones, more or less shaded and based on a grass surface about 60 m2 wide, with 3/6 A of electricity (European industrial connector CEE 2P+E required).
Car is normally parked on the same pitch, but if needed an extra parking spot can be requested with an additional cost.
The frontal pitches by the lake are gently down sloping, more or less shaded and based on a grass surface about 80 m2 wide, with 3/6 A of electricity (European industrial connector CEE 2P+E required).
Of a limited number are the pitches by the lake on the 2nd row, partly shaded and based on a grass surface variable from 90 to 100 m2 wide, with 3/6 A of electricity (European industrial connector CEE 2P+E required).
